Why am I getting logged out?
If you are being logged out unexpectedly, the issue is usually related to your browser's privacy or cookie settings. Our software uses cookies to keep you securely signed in. If your browser is in Private or Incognito mode, is set to block cookies, or is configured to delete cookies automatically, your login session may not be saved.
Solution: Make sure you are using a regular browser window rather than Private or Incognito mode, and check that your browser allows cookies for our website. You may also need to disable any browser setting or extension that automatically clears cookies or website data.
What should I do if I think someone else has accessed my account?
Protect your account by keeping your login credentials confidential. If you suspect unauthorized access or use of your account, change your password using this link: kaganonline.com/account/password/change
How long can I use the software offline?
You must be online when you initially access the software. Once loaded, you can continue using it offline for up to 7 days.

To maintain access, your device must reconnect to the internet at least once every 7 days.
What happens if my KaganTools account is provided by my school or district?
If your access is provided through a school, district, or other organization, a designated administrator may manage access to the organization's subscription. This may include inviting or removing users, assigning or reassigning seats, and viewing usage analytics for the organization's accounts.
03
Free Trials, Subscriptions & Billing
Do I need a credit card to start a free trial?
It depends on the type of free trial. Online free trials require a credit card and convert to a paid subscription if not canceled before the trial ends. Some workshop, promotional, or giveaway trials do not require a credit card and do not automatically convert to a paid subscription. For those promotional trials, you will need to provide a credit card or other approved payment method when you choose to start a paid subscription.
What happens when my free trial ends?
If you started an online free trial with a credit card, your trial will convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends. If you received a workshop, promotional, or giveaway trial that is not associated with a credit card, your trial access will end when the trial period expires unless you choose to start a paid subscription.
What happens if I subscribe during my free trial?
If you subscribe during your free trial, you will not be charged until your free trial ends. Your paid subscription will begin at that time. For annual subscriptions, your next charge will occur one year after your paid subscription begins. For monthly subscriptions, your next charge will occur one month after your paid subscription begins.
When will I be charged for my subscription?
Subscription fees are charged in advance for each paid subscription period. If you begin with an online free trial, your first charge will occur when the trial ends unless you cancel before the end of the trial. If you received a promotional trial that is not associated with a credit card, you will be charged only when you choose to start a paid subscription and provide payment information.
Does my subscription renew automatically?
Yes. Unless you cancel before the end of your current subscription period, your subscription will automatically renew for another period of the same length. The payment method on file will be charged the applicable subscription price.
What is the difference between monthly and annual billing?
Monthly subscriptions are billed once per month, while annual subscriptions are billed once per year. Both subscription types automatically renew unless canceled before the next renewal date. Annual subscriptions may provide savings compared with monthly billing.
What happens if my payment fails?
If a payment fails or becomes past due, access to some or all KaganTools features may be suspended or limited until payment is successfully completed.
Can subscription prices change?
Yes. Subscription prices may change from time to time. Any applicable price change will take effect at the beginning of a future subscription period rather than in the middle of a period you have already paid for.
When would a price change take effect?
For an annual subscription, a new price would take effect at your next annual renewal. For a monthly subscription, a new price would take effect at a future monthly billing date as applicable. You may cancel before renewal if you do not wish to continue at the new price.
04
Cancellation & Refunds
Can I cancel my subscription at any time?
Yes. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid subscription period.
What happens when I cancel my subscription?
Your subscription will remain active through the end of your current paid subscription period. After that period ends, you will lose access to paid subscription features.
Will I continue to have access after I cancel?
Yes. If you cancel a paid subscription, you will generally retain access to paid features until the end of the subscription period you have already paid for.
Can I get a refund if I cancel early?
Except where required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable. Canceling early generally does not result in a refund for the unused portion of your subscription period.
Do you provide refunds or credits for unused time?
Except where required by applicable law, we do not provide refunds or credits for partial subscription periods or unused features.
